Silk Shantung crushed is a unique fabric made out of high quality shantung silk, medium weight and has a pleasant sheen to it. Silk fabrics are first manufactured and then are crushed deliberately through a special process to give the fabric a special texture and pattern. Original width of the fabric 60” after the fabric goes through the crushing process finished width is 53-54”.
